Robert Hamou is a Portfolio Manager and Derivatives Advising Representative at Cardinal Point with 25 years of experience in various financial roles including Investment Management, Investment Banking and Corporate Finance.
Robert joined Dorchester Wealth Management; a Cardinal Point predecessor firm, in 2021. Robert works closely with clients and provides disciplined, long-term investment management of their portfolios. He also works on Equity Research from a fundamental and technical analysis perspective.
Robert began his career as an Investment Banker with National Bank Financial in 2000. He later became an Investment Advisor at the same firm from 2006 for ten years. From 2016 onwards, Robert first served as the CFO of a local coffee company and then as Director of Finance for a fast-growing clothing company.
Robert holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and earned an MBA in Finance from the University of Quebec at Montreal.
